Carmenere 2013 Gran Reserva
The 2013 Single Valley Lot Carmenere has intense dark purple-red tones, with notes of attractive dark fruits, ripe cherries, spices, and dark chocolate. It has a smooth subtle entry, silky tannins; the ripe Carmenere flavours slowly fill the palate. This wine has well balanced oak spices, truly complex with a sweet long finish. Best enjoyed now or can be cellared for up to 5 years.
This wine pairs with tasty white meats such as duck, risottos and chicken or salmon served with spicy sauces and grilled sliced potatoes with rosemary. Lamb and pork are also good accompaniment too. Best served at 17°C.
